WOW! I can't believe it's been almost a year since my last blog entry! Life sure has been hectic with a newborn around ;).
Now I got to get back on my feet and update you guys on what's been going on with the dressmaking. To start, I've made this gown "AUDREY" for those daring bride. "AUDREY" features a deep plunging neckline, open back with a full A line skirt. The bodice is covered with Swarovski crystals for the Bride to shine even more on her special day. The crystals fades out as it reach the shoulder. The skirt has an A line shilouette with a slit opening on the center. With the fullness of the skirt, the slit will show modestly as the Bride walks down the aisle. Materials used for this gown are silk organza and satin. More photos will be uploaded later. Cheers!

I had the pleasure making Jacqueline's wedding gown!
She had given me the opportunity to work with a beautiful silhouette and lace. She came in knowing what she wanted for her wedding gown. She wanted sexy yet elegant gown, sleeve preferred and a slit to show off her beautiful leg. We went through few designs and ideas together and finalized it with bateau neckline using the scallop of the lace, sheath silhouette with a slit to show one of the leg and long sleeve. From partial lace to the final of all over lace with sweetheart neckline underneath. I use Chantilly Lace to make the gown look elegant, with silk charmeuse and chiffon underneath. Here are some photos of the beautiful bride ^^. John Galliano's designs for Dior had always leave a special impression on me. It is his design that always gives me the urge to create an extravagant gown, that uses yards and yards of materials. My designs are not at that point yet, but I do see progress throughout my designs and I do hope to one day reach that destination and even more. In this latest creation of Bridal Gown I have created, I took one of Galliano's design for Dior as an inspiration and tone it down a bit to make it acceptable to the moderate Bridal market. This gown is has a fitted bottom with an illusion of a bubble on the upper part of the skirt. It is a one strap with drapped organza topped with crystals appliques. The gown is fully lined and is made out of Silk Organza and Polyester Sateen. Style: AURELIA

Her vision of her gown was bohemian and she wanted a hint of blue in the gown. With all the descriptions she gave me, I came up with a sweetheart neckline allover lace gown with blue underneath. To give the bohemian feels, I added the asymmetrical sheer chiffon piece on the back which connect to the left cap sleeve. And to make it even unique, Nickie and I decided to use lace, instead of chiffon (as the left) on the right sleeve. Her gown was One-of-A-Kind indeed! ;) We will be participating at Premier Bridal Show this coming Sunday, October 13th!
